A Propane Tankless Water Heater with Hydronic Coil
Heats the Home, Heats the Water
A Propane Tankless Water Heater can work with a home’s forced-air system to help heat the home.
The system uses both a Propane Tankless Water Heater and a Hydronic Coil (hot water coil/hydronic heat coil).
Water is heated by the Propane Tankless Water Heater, where it then goes through a Hydronic Coil (hot water coil / hydronic heat coil) fitted inside the air handler. As air moves across that hydronic coil, the blower moves that warm air through the home’s ductwork to heat the home.
This system offers two functions in one—provides indoor heat and supplies hot water for everyday household use.
