Ohio’s Propane Water Heater Rebates are available to any Ohio Resident.
A propane water heater, especially the tankless water heater, can help reduce your energy bills.
Propane has minimal emissions (EPA Clean Air Act) and therefore cuts your home’s carbon emissions nearly in half as compared to an electric water heater.

Ohio Customer Process
Contact a licensed installer of your choice to install your new propane water heater.
Fill out section 1 and 2 of the rebate application.
Have your licensed installer fill out section 3 of the rebate application.
As the customer, you are responsible for contacting your propane retailer to conduct a safety inspection of the installation (section 4), and providing a receipt of purchase.
- Your propane retailer conducts the safety check and submits the form to the Ohio Propane Council for you!
